Conditions
At Better Together we want to provide a positive, yet fair experience when you rent-a-rack, so terms and conditions have been put in place to allow this. Better Together Pre-Loved Fashion reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Failure to read the Terms and Conditions Form is not within the responsibility of Better Together Pre-Loved Fashion.
You = renter Better Together Pre-loved Fashion = BT
1. All information given to Better Together Pre-Loved Fashion is confidential.
2. BT takes no responsibility if an item becomes faulty whilst in-store.
3. BT takes all necessary provisions to avoid theft. However, BT takes no responsibility for missing or stolen items.
4. BT takes no responsibility in the event of a fire, water damage, robbery or any other factors out of BT’s control.
5. BT has the right to rearrange the store layout and position of the racks without warning.
6. One rental week is 7 days.
7. If the renter wants to extend the rental period, this can be done subject to availability.
8. 10% commission is taken on all sales.
9. Rack rental, Drop-Off Service costs and extra fees and charges are outlined on the BT website.
10. Rack rental costs must be paid in full, upfront at time of booking in-store or online. Rack rental costs cannot be deducted from profits.
11. Cancellation policy: A 100% deposit is required on all rack rental bookings. This is non-refundable due to change-of-mind or cancellation inside of 10 days prior to your booking. 10 days’ notice must be given if needing to move or cancel any racks booked.
12. A rack that has been moved to an alternate date may not be cancelled nor refunded after the fact.
13. No refunds are offered for the Drop-Off Service.
14. Cancellations of racks during their booking period or days that the rack isn’t present in-store for will not be refunded.
15. If the rack is not present in-store, and forms of communication from BT to the renter have been unanswered, BT has the right to cancel the renters rack after 48 hours with no refund.
16. All garments put up for sale must be clean, not faulty and in good condition. If they are considered unsellable due to their condition, BT has the right to remove them from the floor.
17. Refunds or exchanges are not allowed on garments purchased in-store or online. If the need for a refund arises, contact will be made with the renter for permission.
18. No security tags are provided.
19. BT does not allow designer brand replicas on the shop floor. All designer pieces need to have a form of authenticity.
20. Drop-off Service may be booked later than time of booking and is subject to availability.
21. A booked Drop-Off Service requires items to be dropped into store 1 week prior to rack rental commencement. Please refer to allocated date on Booking Information Email.
22. Top-ups and restocks of the renter’s rack are allowed up to the maximum number of garments on a rack as outlined on the website.
23. Drop-Off Service restock must be dropped into store before the allocated pricing day as set by store terms. A fee may incur for the restock items as outlined on the website.
24. A pack-down fee will be charged to the renters account if unsold items have not been collected by the specified pack-down time on the final day of rental. See website for list of fees and charges.
25. ACC and BSB number must be given to BT Staff at the conclusion of the rental period. Profits will be deposited into the renters allocated account within 7-14 business days.
26. Ensure correct bank details are provided, as BT takes no responsibility should the holder provide incorrect bank details.
27. If items included in the pack-down or items with lost tags are not collected within 1 month, they are property of BT. If items that BT has communicated with the renter that have been left behind and are to collect, are not collected within 2 weeks, they are property of BT.
28. 24 hours’ notice is to be given to BT if any item is missing off of the completed rack.
LONG-TERM RACK RENTAL:
Long-term rack rental: A rack booked for a period of 3 months or greater.
29. A 50% deposit is required on all long-term rack rentals at time of booking.
30. The remaining 50% is to be paid prior to or on rack commencement date.
31. Cancellation policy: There is no refund on the 50% deposit prior to rack commencement date.
32. No refund will be given on early cancellations of long-term racks.
33. Payout of rack profits is made by BT within the 1st week of every month to the allocated bank account.
34. It is at the prerogative of the renter to update BT in the case a rack extension is required pending availability.
